We report rate coefficients for the relaxation of OH(v = 1) by O2 and N2O as a function of temperature. The rate coefficients for relaxation (in units of 10−13 cm3 molecule−1 s−1) can be fit by the the expressions. The results are discussed in terms of the possible mechanisms for relaxation, especially the influence of the weak chemical interaction between OH radicals and O2.
